Special Enforcement Team

The Special Enforcement Team (S.E.T. Team) is used in situations that require the use of special tactics. These may include hostage or barricaded gunman situations, high-risk warrant service, or VIP protection.

Units & Personnel
The team consists of two units, the tactical unit and the negotiations unit. The team includes a Team Commander, two  team sergeants, ten tactical team members, and two trained negotiators. The team members work in various other divisions of the Sheriffs Office and are used on a call-out basis when needed. Members of the team train together monthly to better prepare for high-risk situations.
