Friends of the Library

The Humboldt County Library enjoys tremendous support throughout the County. 'Friends of the Library' organizations exist in nearly every branch library community.
The Friends of the Redwood Libraries, based in Eureka, is a dynamic community group of library-loving people who work together to benefit our entire library system.

In addition, most library branches have local groups of Friends (you can see the whole list below.

Through the work of the Friends, the library is able to add more books and materials to its collections, offer programs to enhance library services, and more. You may join the Friends and volunteer, or you may just want to join to lend your support by being a member.

Contact the Friends group in your community for information on how to join.
