  • The use of unauthorized traffic control devices within the right of way is prohibited. (CVC 21465)
  • Signs that are visible from any highway simulating or imitating any directional, warning, danger or information sign or if likely to be mistaken for any official sign, or if intended or likely to be construed as giving warning to traffic, by, for example, the use of the words “stop” or “slow down” are prohibited.(B&P 5403(b))
